AAA Says Millennials are Worst Drivers
A study released Wednesday by AAA found that young millennials earn the top spot for worst behaved drivers. According to AAA, 88 percent of drivers between 19 and 24 years old admitted to recently speeding, texting or running red lights, nearly 14 percent found it acceptable to drive through a red light. AAA says the part of your brain that assesses risk doesn’t fully develop until you’re around 25 years old. The study comes as traffic fatalities in the United States increased by 7 percent in 2015, making it the largest single-year increase in 50 years.
